I know 2020 had many bumps and detours. Many people have said it was the worst year. My question is “Was it really that bad”
I think it is perspective. We can choose to only to see the bad that happened. For me I want to see the good that happened.
-My oldest daughter and grandson moved in with me (hasnt been all butterflies and rainbows. It has been good to have my family close)
-My youngest daughter was pregnant for the first half of the year. She lives 8 minutes away. So I was able to spend time with her.
-I enjoyed the Virginia weather and walked ALOT
-My son in law returned safely from deployment
-My second grandson was born a week after my birthday
-I was able to have a backstage pass to the pandemic because my Nanny boss works in healthcare. So I was able to connect and encourage someone who was in the midst of the crazy
-Became very creative to connect with others.
-I was able to encourage many people with apple butter, peach butter and even banana bread
-I was able to get out of my comfort zone
-I was able to make a Bucket List that I am checking things off of (stay tuned to a post about that list)
I was able to serve those that were in quarentine.
I refuse to be a negative nancy. There were some hard times. There were also so many things that made my heart happy and my face smile.
To GOD Be The GLORY. Take Care. Much Love
