Pre-COVID there was brother at church that was doing the welcome. He had a great analogy he shared.
He mentioned that he and his family went blueberry picking. He had an AHA moment while he was there. He saw blueberries that were not ripe or even too ripe.
He mentioned that those blueberries made him think of GOD. Because GOD picks us at the perfect time. He know when we will be ripe enough to be open to to him being in our lives.
I have always thought about that anaology. I am glad GOD picked me when he did. Because I really feel I was on the verge of being too rotten for the picking
