A few months ago, there was a Christian movie that came out called “Run the Race’ It was such a powerful movie. Two of the characters had so many obstacles thrown at them, but they did not allow any of it to define them.
It is such an inspirational message. We can not allow our past to define our future. We need to use it as a steppingstone to the future instead of being stuck in the past. It is so easy to use it as a badge of defeat instead of a badge of healing. To show what you have survived.
This life is like a race. It is not enough to just show up. We need to participate. We need to use our past as our training for our future. Most importantly we can never get defeated. Even if we feel tired and weary. Never stop. It is better to walk some of this race. But NEVER STOP
