As a Christian, I can sometimes have the mindset of praying for something, figured GOD heard the prayer, he knows what I need and just believe he will take care of the prayer request. And just sit back and wait for the prayer to be answered.
I don’t think that is what GOD really wants us to do. He wants us to pray, petition, fast, and pray some more. He wants us to be radical. To give everything we have to GOD in prayer.
He wants us to PUSH (Prayer Until Something Happens) That Something Happens maybe what you prayed for or even something different.
I can struggle when what I prayed for does not get answered the way I wanted. But I have to remember that GOD’s plan is bigger than my dreams. So I need to learn to be acceptance of GOD’s grace and know he has my best interest at heart.
If we have a hard time with PUSH then we can also struggle with PULL (Prayer Until Loneliness Leaves) I can struggle with feeling lonely. Instead of giving it to GOD I find myself relying on myself to fill the void with food, items, or just plain laziness.
It is so easy to rely on ourselves and not give it to GOD. But when we do submit GOD will bless us with the plan he has for us.

For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father…that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being. (Ephesians 3:14,16)
