Preparing for this post I was on the internet looking for quotes and pictures. I came across a few websites that had a title similar to this “Rape Prevention Ideas”
Basically, it was giving advice to women on not being alone with someone, not to walk dark alleys or being out late. We definitely need to talk about safety. But giving these guidelines can put the blame on the victims and not the violator.
Instead of having that perspective we need to be educating men and women about what no means. If you are pursuing someone into a situation they don’t want to be in you need to understand their NO and leave them alone. No Means No.
This statement is powerful and self-explanatory. No Means No. I am not going to write much about this. Instead, I am just going to share memes/photos/videos that I have found that speak this powerful message better than I can write.
