Since tomorrow is Valentines Day I figured it was fitting to repost a blog about my favorite shape. The weeks leading up to Valentines Day is like Christmas for me. I love going to different stores to see what unique heart-shaped items they may have. I hope you enjoy the report
My Favorite Shape

I know it may sound crazy, especially because not many people claim to have a favorite shape but I do. HEARTS are my favorite shape. Any time I even think about a HEART I automatically think about LOVE. No matter about personal differences, race, religion, social barriers, disabilities etc. HEARTS are the universal symbol of LOVE. And that makes my HEART happy.
It is crazy to think about it but I really did not have the same thought and warm fuzzies about HEARTS until after my second divorce. I just found myself gravitating and noticing HEARTS more often. I think because I was in such a dark place I needed something positive to get me through it. And HEARTS were what gave hope to push through.
Since HEARTS is my favorite shape then it is a given that I LOVE Valentine’s Day. That may sound crazy for a middle-aged single mom who does not have a significant other in her life. But I literally can’t wait for Christmas to be over so the Valentine’s Day stuff comes out. I go to all the stores to see if there is anything I don’t have yet that I may want. I have baking pans/bowls/measuring cups/vases/tablecloths/napkins and many more things that either HEART shaped or are HEART printed.
It just gives me extreme joy to see stuff with HEARTS on it. It’s so funny I have some pieces that are under the age of 10 years old I don’t see them very much but when I do see them they remember that “Aunt Dink loves HEARTS” They will even wear something with HEARTS on it if they know they will see me. That is cool to be remembered that way.
So, I guess this is something new to be known for. The Queen of HEARTS Much Love. Take Care.
