There is a children’s book that I enjoyed reading to my girls “When You Give A Mouse A Cookie” It is an adventure story about what happens when you attempt to give a mouse a cookie. He basically gets sidetrack with other tasks. I have always loved that series of books.
I had a day last week that I felt like I was on a task to get one thing done and then ended up getting sidetrack to other adventures and task.
Here is what my book would have been
When Dana has to get a base pass for medical care
She goes to the visitor center
She finds out that she can not get a permanent pass until she gets a South Carolina license
So she goes to the DMV
She finds out South Carolina requires any name changes documentation along with a birth certificate and proof of residence to get a South Carolina Drivers License
She then goes home to contact 2 states for marriage certificates (Texas & Nevada) and 2 states for divorce decrees (Kansas & Ohio)
She then sets out to complete those task
So at the end of the day, she does not have a permanent base pass but she does have 5 more things on her To-Do List. SCORE
