I had the intention to start a new blog specifically for the Radical Change Challenge. But I decided to just use this blog for this challenge because this challenge is a part of going from VIctim To Victorious.

I saw a post on Facebook the other day that said:
“Having at least one lazy day a week can reduce stress, high blood pressure and the chances of having a stroke”
If that is the case then I have definitely been healthy this weak LOL. I have definitely had a lazy week. My host family went out of town for a few days. So it was me and their fur babies to hang out. It was nice to have a few lazy days after the last few weeks of being crazy busy.
Now I have definitely gotten some stuff done this week. It has just been at a slower pace. And that is okay with me. Especially since the month of June was an action-packed busy month, it is nice to have a slower pace for a little while.
Like I said this has been a lazy time yet I have still gotten some stuff done that has made me still feel like I have had a purpose and still feeling successful.
In the last 7 days since I last posted I have
- Established care with a Therapist
- Went to an Art Walk Downtown Charleston with a Sister
- Celebrated another sisters birthday with other singles
- Helped a single mom with childcare
- Served a sister who is recovering from surgery by cleaning her house.
- Made some HUGE STEPS in my job search.(Will talk about it more in tomorrows post)
- Went to get a pass to get on the Naval Base for Medical Care.
- Found out that I need to have a South Carolina Drivers License to get my pass.
- So had to go find out the steps for that.
- Found out that South Carolina is doing the Real ID program.
- So now I am in the process of getting 2 marriage certificates, and 2 Divorce Decrees because you have to show each time you changed your name.
- Felt like I was in the book “If You Give A Mouse A Cookie” with what transpired from just trying to get a base pass.
- Just got a few more things on my to-do list that I have to cross off. Not a big deal.
So yeah I was not busy every single minute of each day. But I did get a lot of stuff done. And because of those checked off To Do List items, I feel more healthy
