I had the intention to start a new blog specifically for the Radical Change Challenge. But I decided to just use this blog for this challenge because this challenge is a part of going from VIctim To Victorious.

I woke up this morning feeling so positive from yesterday. I was feeling so motivated to check off things on my todo list
- Call insurance
- Call the Previous Employer
- Look into other options for a physical
- Establish healthcare with the VA
- Get a PO Box
- And just relax for the rest of the day.
The day proved to have a few obstacles.
- I found out that my insurance ended on June 30.
- Called my previous employer to verify when insurance ended.
- While on the phone with the employer I found out that my last check would not be directed deposited as I was told on July 5. it would be mailed
- So that put a glitch in my plan. My mail from my Dayton address was on hold until I was planning to forward it to a PO BOX.
- So I went to the post office hoping to get a PO Box so I could hopefully get my check soon.
- Found out that I can not get a PO Box without a verified address (need a lease)
- So I had to just forward my mail to my host family’s address for right now.
- So since I would not be getting my check direct deposited on Thursday money is going to be tight until then.
I was trying to roll with the punches. Making the best of the situation. I could let the day define me or refine me. I decided to post on the church Facebook page to see if anyone had any options for me to get a physical and TB for low cost or free.
I was able to get some good suggestions. There is a sister who is a Doctor, another one that is a PA and someone else that knows about a lot of medical resources. So I had quite a few options. I was also able to establish medical care through the VA. My appointment is not for a few weeks, So won’t be able to get my physical done through the VA for this job. But at least I will have healthcare since I probably won’t have it through my jobs since they will both be part-time
So I have the choice to see the many obstacles I had today or I can choose to see the success that I have had. That is what I choose to do. Today had some success
