6 Months!!!!

It is crazy to think about the fact that I have been writing a post every day for 6 months TODAY!!!!  It has been so healing for me to just share my life, feelings, and healing with the world.  It has been great to reflect on my life and be able to write about it.

I was so scared to start this blog.  I actually spent the whole month of June 2017 gathering my thoughts.  Deciding what I wanted to talk about.  And figuring out as much as I could about a website and blogging.  So at any moment I could have just not hit the ACTIVATE button.  Not many people knew my intentions of blogging.  But I made sure that I told my closet friends and family about my intentions to keep me accountable.

I actually was so excited to hit the ACTIVATE button that my website went live on June 30, 2017.  My idea and expectation of the website was to share my story and life in hopes of helping others who have had trauma in their lives.  Yet I had an open mind that I would just share my life no matter what.

I will be real I have struggled some.  I try not to “follow” the view stats.  But it can be hard not to.  I guess I did have some hope that the views would increase.  It has pretty much stayed the same about 1-5 views a day.  Even though that struggle I push myself to just keep blogging and sharing my life.  So my promise to myself is to do the blog for at least 1 year and to reevaluate it and decide to continue, change it or to stop.  So I am just halfway to that goal right now.  All I can do is give it to GOD and see what will happen.

There have been quite a few amazing things that have happened.  I have been contacted by a few people to share my story on their blog, website, and podcast.  One has been published so far.  As soon as I have a date for the others I will post it.

So thank you to everyone who has been following my story.  I look forward to seeing what God has planned for me, my life, and this blog.
